Today on “Behold The Man”, we talk about the Gospel reading from the 4th week of Lent… Luke 15:11-32, the “Prodigal Son”. This is on of the most beautiful passages of Scripture as it depicts the endless mercy of the Father for His children. Aren’t we all in need of rescuing… of mercy… of forgiveness? Our Lord knows this, and in the “Prodigal Son” parable he communicates this to us in abundance.

Getting back to “A Father Who Keeps His Promises” (Ch. 4) by Dr. Scott Hahn, today, we look at Genesis Ch. 4, 5, & 6 and dive deep into Cain, & Able, as well as the good line through Seth and the bad line through Cain and his decedents. We set the stage for the next covenant with Noah and the great flood!

Today, we finish up both Genesis chapter 3 and “A Father Who Keeps His Promises” chapter 3. Its the punishment God dolls out for the sin of Adam… wrath or love? We also, point out even more typology to Christ and Mary in this chapter.
