10:30am-5:30pm

The Stehly Family

Ranch, 2745 Grand

Ave, Fillmore, CA

Fr. Phillip Chavez SOLT, the founder and director of the Amator Institute, will be delivering three amazing messages, summoning men to the fullness of Christian manhood, in the idyllic setting the Stehly Ranch, nestled among the citrus orchards outside of Fillmore, CA. Fr. Chavez, the author of the best-selling St. Joseph Communications CD set “Quest for Masculine Spirituality”, will be bringing his dynamic preaching to Ventura County to set the hearts of men on fire for Christ. The schedule is as follows.

10am– Meet and Greet
Great coffee from Coffeeboy Espresso Bar + Cafe and donuts will be provided, so come early and get a seat up front.

11am– Talk One: The Mission of Every Christian Man
As most men suffer from a sense of purpose and a longing to know what God is asking of them, Father Chavez explains that men need to be grounded in their natural calling as a Leader, Protector, and Provider; supernaturally, they are summoned to share in Christ’s own mission as Priest, Prophet, and King. In explaining these six roles, he details what it is to grow as a man anchored in his natural masculine character, and the necessity to be forged according to the supernatural mold given by Christ.

12:30– BBQ Lunch
Grab a big plate of Santa Maria Tri-tip, an ice-cold beer, and get ready for the rest of the day.

2pm– Talk Two: The Journey of the Beloved Son
Among all the seminars Father has ever given, this topic has had the most impact on and has resonated the most with its hearers. Deep in the human psyche lies the need to hear the words Christ heard from His own Heavenly Father: “You are my Beloved Son, in you I am well pleased.” The validation of the Father and the sense of being cherished by him stands as a primal need of the human heart. Father Chavez explains the impact of this and how one can walk this journey successfully with their Heavenly Father.

4pmMass
Fr. Chavez will preside over the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the great outdoors.
