Click the play button above. We serve the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, sharing His ministry as Priest, Prophet, and King, we are the King’s Men! If Christ was so willing to give up his life, for us, to provide us with LIFE poured out in the sacraments, His Church, His Name, and His family… what are we willing to die to provide? Especially for those placed into our care and custody? In this talk, given at the Worcester, MA, Catholic Men’s prayer breakfast in May of 2012, we dive deep into our calling as the King’s men!
Why? Why did God have to take on flesh and dwell among us? Why did he have to suffer and die in order to redeem us? Answer, LOVE, a complete gift of self… it’s what the first Adam failed to do, and the last Adam did to perfection! Much of this talk is based upon Dr. Scott Hahn’s work in “First Comes Love”, and “A Father Who Keeps His Promises”. I would encourage you to read both of those books for MUCH more detail. The video & audio quality is not the best however, due to “user error”… I failed to record the audio… this is now the only copy I have of this talk given to the St. Thomas More Society at the University of Houston Law Center.
